On his journey, he works for the Zhulean Realm, processing a poisonous fruit that protects people from dangerous beasts. Through his work he learns that the Godern believe the fruit is cursed, and that all who touch it are cursed, and he must decide between following the ways of the Godern or the Realm. When at last he reaches Mount Zul, he learns about the origins of the curse, and is called upon to help remove it. But can he--and how?
