Will the revelations from her ex, her sister, and her family, change everything in the new life that Chris has rebuilt?

About AJ Adaire

Let me tell you a little about myself. Twenty years ago, I wrote my first book just to see if I could do it. The novel occupied space on my bookshelf, unread for nearly twenty years until one day, while in a cleaning frenzy, I considered disposing of the neatly stacked but now age-yellowed pages. As I began to read the long forgotten work, I was surprised to discover that the story was enjoyable! Editing and retyping the first book provided a new sense of accomplishment and additional tales followed. Completion of This is Fitting encouraged me to write four more romance novels. I Love My Life and Sunset Island were followed by Awaiting My Assignment and its sequel, Anything Your Heart Desires. One Day Longer Than Forever is now complete, and It’s Complicated is in the hands of first readers before the first big edit.

Now retired, there is all the time in the world to write. I live on the east coast with my partner of twenty-eight years. Because we love a challenge, we provide a loving home for two spoiled cats instead of a dog. In addition to writing, any spare time is devoted to reading, mastering new computer programs, and socializing with friends.

Skykeep by Joseph R. Lallo

Several months have passed since Nita Graus left her home in Caldera to soar with the crew of the Wind Breaker, and life is anything but easy. Their prior exploits have earned them quite a reputation among surface-dwellers and made them a perpetual target of the manipulative residents of the fug. Now a new plot could split the crew and ground the Wind Breaker once and for all.

It has taken some adjustment, but Nita Graus has made quite a home for herself among the crew of the Wind Breaker. Under her skillful care it has become one of the only airships to stay aloft without the continuous repair and oversight of the vile and manipulative fug folk. Word of her adventures with Captain Mack, Gunner, Lil, Cooper, and Wink has made the whole crew into living legends among the residents of the mountain towns of Rim, but in doing so it has also made finding safe harbor virtually impossible. Agents of the fug folk and those working on their behalf hide in every cloud and skulk in every shadow.

Only one town, a place called Lock, is willing to welcome the Wind Breaker into port. Most of the townspeople have already been shunned by the Fug Folk, and as such have little to lose in aiding and abetting the crew. Captain Mack, mindful of his advancing age and the risks he's had to request of his crew time and time again, has begun to plan for his retirement. Plans are swiftly derailed when the fug folk hatch a plan of their own, splitting the crew and locking Nita away in the floating prison known as Skykeep.

Skykeep is the second book in the Free-Wrench saga and continues to chronicle the adventures of Nita and her new crew as they continue to clash with the twisted figures who control the destiny of a continent.

Life is Awesome (Mnevermind 3) by Jordan Castillo Price

Daniel Schroeder wants nothing more than to repair his father’s broken memories, but it’s been a long time since he’s thought of himself as a memorysmith. With the support of his new boyfriend Elijah, possibilities begin to open up for Daniel, hints of things he hasn’t even realized he’d stopped hoping for.

Daniel Schroeder wants nothing more than to repair his father’s broken memories, but it’s been a long time since he’s thought of himself as a memorysmith. Even though convincing Big Dan of their current reality is the most painful task Daniel faces every morning, somehow life manages to prevent him from finding a cure. He needs to keep their family business running. And he needs to moonlight at a competitor’s shop to keep all his employees paid. Or maybe he’s just trying to keep himself from exacerbating the situation.

A year ago, Daniel would have presumed he was clever enough to memorysmith his way out of their predicament, but nowadays he’s not so cavalier. Playing with people’s memories shouldn’t be taken lightly, and things can always get worse. Even with the help of some of the best minds in the business, Daniel still isn’t sure how to navigate his way out of the persistent false memory that’s crippled his life. Is new programming the answer? Better gear? More money? Or is time the only thing that can heal Big Dan’s memories…if they can even be fixed at all.

What Daniel needs most is some breathing room, and Elijah Crowe is eager to provide it. Since he’s smitten with Daniel, Elijah is determined to prove himself—and he’s more than qualified to clear Daniel’s schedule by taking over some duties at Adventuretech. With the support of his new boyfriend, possibilities begin to open up for Daniel, hints of things he hasn’t even realized he’d stopped hoping for: the contentment of a harmonious family, the fulfillment of his creative expression, and a chance for a relationship with a man he loves.

Winter in Tirane: The Stories of Jiri Kajane by Jiri Kajane

>> Sunday, April 12, 2015

Winter in Tirane: The Stories of Jiri Kajane, brings together for the first time twelve intertwined tales of bittersweet love, absurd politics, and comic hijinks by the enigmatic Jiri Kajane...an exploration of the meaning of identity, the power of suggestion, and the complex relationship between a story and its creator.

"What I remember now is their laconic strangeness...a new and mysterious voice." Ian Jack, The Guardian

“Endearing, gently humorous.”

Professor Sue Vice, author of Textual Deceptions: False Memoirs and Literary Hoaxes in the Contemporary Era, quoted in The Independent

Winter in Tirane: The Stories of Jiri Kajane, brings together for the first time twelve intertwined tales of bittersweet love, absurd politics, and comic hijinks by the enigmatic Jiri Kajane. Set against the final days of the Albanian empire, the stories follow an unnamed narrator–the Deputy Minister of Slogans–and his young friend Leni as they attempt to navigate a landscape of shifting political alliances and unsettling personal affairs. By turns funny, profound, and moving, Winter in Tirane is an exploration of the meaning of identity, the power of suggestion, and the complex relationship between a story and its creator.

About Jiri Kajane

Time Out Scotland named Jiri Kajane "the second greatest living Albanian writer," after Ismail Kdare. But who exactly is Jiri Kajane, and why has no one in the literary world ever actually met him? Why has he never been photographed?

According to some accounts, Kajane was raised in Kruje, Albania. His satirical drama, Neser Perdite (Tomorrow, Every Day), is rumored to have received great acclaim in a singular 1981 performance before being banned by the Albanian Ministry of Culture. Due to Kajane’s precarious standing before the revolution, his work has never been published in his home country.

About Fletcher DeLancey

Fletcher DeLancey spent her early career as a science educator, which was the perfect combination of her two great loves: language and science. These days she combines them while writing science fiction.

She is an Oregon expatriate who left her beloved state when she met a Portuguese woman and had to choose between home and heart. She chose heart. Now she lives with her wife and son in the beautiful sunny Algarve, where she writes full-time, teaches Pilates, tries to learn the local birds and plants, and samples every regional Portuguese dish she can get her hands on. (There are many. It’s going to take a while.)

She is best known for her five-book Star Trek: Voyager fan fiction epic, "The Past Imperfect Series", and for her geeky romance "Mac vs. PC". Currently, she is working on the next books in the "Chronicles of Alsea" and as an editor for Ylva Publishing.
