The Fair Viking Princess: At First Sight by Marilyn Gregoire

>> Friday, June 6, 2014

When Anna was drugged at a frat party and gang raped, she prayed to God for help. Never did she expect that her help would come in the form of a tall, handsome man her age who was determined to make it to his wedding night with his virginity intact. But that promise gave her time, time to heal, time to be sure. Follow their journey back to when promises were made and were meant to be kept.

At a junior high youth rally, a boy and a girl both prayed the same prayer. How else could God answer them except to reconnect them when the time was right? For the sake of this beauty, whose name he never caught, Alan Zimmermann would do anything to find her, the “Viking Princess,” even if it meant deepening his faith and learning what God really wanted of him. Anna Hillman was gang raped on the eve of her graduation from college, and there was date rape before that. She prayed to God for help. Trusting men was impossible, but she sank what little trust she had left into God alone and was rewarded in the form of a tall, handsome man her age who was determined to make it to his wedding night with his virginity intact. That promise gave her time, time to heal, time to really know him, time to be sure that if any man ever touched her again, that she wanted it to be him and only him, but Alan’s bent on finding his princess. Will he still accept her when he finds out the secret she’s been keeping? Follow their journey back to the beginning, back before trust was lost. When promises were made and were meant to be kept.

About Marilyn Gregoire

Marilyn Gregoire grew up in various small towns in northeastern North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota—on the outskirts, looking out. When she met and married her sweetheart, Jon, they moved out into the country and the prairie has had her heart ever since. She is a secretary for the Department of Theatre Arts at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks and loves her job. But writing fiction is a creative outlet and a very exhilarating hobby. She and Jon also raise animals, birds and a big garden on their farm. Whether picking a long row of green beans or cleaning a big farm house, Marilyn uses the mundane work to develop characters and story lines. Marilyn and Jon both enjoy their grown children and grandchildren.

Her faith in God has always been a priority in her life and helping the church through music ministry has been a blessing since she enjoys the friendship of like-minded believers who help motivate and inspire Marilyn in real and enduring ways!
