About Nicoladie Tam, Ph.D.


Dr. Nicoladie Tam, Ph.D., is a professor teaching a course in Principles of Biology and a course in Neuropsychopharmacology. She is a computational neuroscientist doing brain research in emotions and cognition, integrating sensorimotor functions and decisions, using the state-of-the-art near-infrared optical imaging techniques. She also does research in autonomous robotic control. She has received a Ph.D. degree in Physiology, and three bachelor's degrees in Computer Science, Physics, and Astrophysics from University of Minnesota. She has been a professor at Baylor College of Medicine, and a post-doctoral fellow at University of California at Irvine.
